Important: New Home for WordPlay

We're on the move!

Given that we have outgrown Maggies and seek to expand still further we have now found ourselves a dedicated new venue. We will now be holding our events, including the monthly Forum, at the Emerald Isle in La Florida. We are also moving from the second Friday in each month to the second Monday of every month - the first Forum being on the 12th of September. We also have a new start time of 10am. We're on show!

Next Sunday (7th August) there is a fun day being held at Parque del Duque (outside Maggies, Clarkes, Pablos, and Conciertos) in aid of Help for Heroes. WordPlay has taken a stall to promote our anthology and other ventures, whilst showing our support for the charity. The event runs from noon until 9pm. Hope to see you there.

ShowCase!

We have already sold over 60 copies directly and obviously are optimistic about selling more at the Fun Day. Should you require any further copies please let us know as we are likely to have to re-order soon.

International launch for member's book!

Georgia Varjas, the volcanic voice of poetry, has now published her poetry collection 'Words on the Wild Side'. As part of her worldwide launch she is headlining at several poetry venues in California during August. Exciting things are happening!

We are currently developing a suite of creative writing courses, with publication included, that will run throughout the winter months. More news at the fun day next week, and on this blog next time.
